Welcome to the TEXR Foundation

The philosophy of "Taking care of our own and those around us!" led Tex Robbins, President and CEO of Lone Star Transportation, to form the TEXR Foundation, a 501(C)(3) non-profit public charity, supporting employees, contractors, and dependents of Lone Star Transportation. The TEXR foundation strives to be a generous benefactor and a supportive corporate citizen in the communities where Lone Star does business and where employees and contractors live. The Foundation encourages employees and contractors to get involved in their communities, volunteer and do their part to improve the lives of others.

Special Thanks for Supporting Our Golf Tournament

Thanks to all of our sponsors and friends who participated in our 5th Annual Golf Tournament in September at Tour 18 in Flower Mound. The weather got us in the spring but was perfect (if not a little warm) this time around. We had a full field and a great time, all while raising money to support the TEXR Foundation. It is our one fundraiser for the year and your support allows us to do what we do and positively impact many lives. Thank you again for joining us and supporting our work.

TEXR Supports Professional Trucks Drivers During Driver Apprecation Week

The TEXR Foundation Good Neighbor Fund supported professional truck drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week by providing gift cards to Lone Star's professional drivers. The cards were provided through a grant from the TEXR Foundation Family Fund and were handed out during a week when the trucking industry nationwide recognizes the importance of and appreciation for the men and women who deliver America's economy year-round. "This is a small gesture we could provide during Driver Appreciation Week that recognizes the very large contribution our professional drivers make 365 days a year," said Tex Robbins, Chairman of TEXR Foundation. "We deeply appreciation all of our drivers' efforts to help make our company -- and our economy -- a great success."
