Lone Star Family Fund
The TEXR Foundation Lone Star Family Fund is intended to provide financial assistance to individuals and/or families affiliated with Lone Star Transportation that have encountered tragedies or hardships in their lives. Grants from the TEXR Foundation Lone Star Family Fund are a maximum of $500 and only one grant per incident/family can be awarded in a calendar year.
The Lone Star Family fund is not intended to replace or supplement insurance coverage related to on-the-job injuries and/or specific medical procedures or related costs. All grants are subject to review by Foundation personnel and subject to approval of the TEXR Foundation Board of Trustees.

Lone Star Education Fund
The Lone Star Education Fund provides scholarships and grants to help fund secondary and post-secondary education for those affiliated with Lone Star Transportation. Applicants must be high school graduates or seniors enrolling in an accredited junior college, four-year university or technical school, and must be an employee or a dependent of someone employed by Lone Star Transportation Company or one of its affiliates at the time the scholarship or grant is issued. Scholarships and grants are awarded annually in July. All applicants must fully complete a scholarship application and return it by July 19 to be eligible. Click here to download the application.
Lone Star Good Neighbor Fund
The Lone Star Good Neighbor Fund provides grants to accredited non-profit organizations operating in the communities in which Lone Star Transportation operates and its employees/contractors live. The fund also provides matching dollars for approved fundraising efforts by Lone Star Transportation employees/contractors. Applicants must complete and submit a grant application to the TEXR Foundation to be eligible. These applications can be submitted by the organization itself or by a Lone Star Transportation employee/contractor on their behalf.
